This is a beautiful platter that is also set up for use as a wall hanging plate. The woman is beautiful. It has the P. M. Bavaria markings on the back. Hand painted. One minute chip. I didn’t even see it till I looked at it again. So minute you can miss it easily. Doesn’t take away from plate. Look at picture 6 and 7. Made in Bavaria.
The original founders were Hermann Kühnert and Magnus Tischer. Kühnert was related to the porcelain manufacturer Hermann Reinecke. In 1895 the Porzellanfabrik Kühnert & Tischer OHG was converted to the Porzellanfabrik Moschendorf AG. In 1907 Paul Reinecke as co-owner took the place of Kühnert. From 1937, Otto Reinecke was the sole owner. In 1957 the factory was closed.
This has been in the family since the 1900s.i
