Ciro was an American manufacturer, who began making TLR cameras in Detroit prior to WWII, and later moved production to Delaware, Ohio. In 1949 they took over the design of the Cee-ay 35 from Chicago's Candid Camera Corporation and this became the Ciro 35. The Ciro company's camera lines were bought out by Graflex in the early 1950s; and the company reorganized as Ectro Industries to make tape recorders[1]. Graflex continued to use the Ciro 35 name until their own retooled version, the Graflex Graphic 35, came to market in 1955.
